The role will also focus on exploring how transformative platforms like ServiceNow can be leveraged in other critical functions within a healthcare organization.
“Nuvolo is a pioneer and leader in enterprise application development on the ServiceNow CreateNow platform. Yale’s goal is to achieve long sought after transformation objectives not historically possible with legacy processes, platforms and technology. Nuvolo and ServiceNow are enabling such transformation and modernizing clinical engineering work processes. The goals of innovative service management for medical technology are better patient care, lower costs and improved organizational productivity,” said Chris Gutmann, Head of Clinical Engineering at Yale New Haven Health System. “I am honored to serve as Chairman of an organization with deep industry expertise and a commitment to innovation in healthcare. I look forward to working with Nuvolo, ServiceNow, their customers and partners to extend the ServiceNow platform in healthcare.”
“Chris is a leader and visionary in recognizing the potential of next generation technology in addressing a very complex set of issues faced by a modern healthcare organization. He has tremendous knowledge and expertise regarding the operating model of a healthcare provider. Medical equipment and devices are traditionally the largest capital and operating expenditure for healthcare providers behind facilities and people. Chris understands that a single, enterprise platform to manage and service medical devices positively impacts patient outcomes, safety, compliance and revenue,” said Asim Rizvi, Chief Technology Officer for Nuvolo. “For these reasons, Chris provides tremendous value to Nuvolo, our customers and partners as we continue to innovate in the healthcare market.”
Nuvolo develops, implements and supports cloud-based applications built on the ServiceNow CreateNow platform.
